My Mom has expressed an intrest in going to DTD this trip. We will have my then turning 3 year old ds, DH. DM, and DD. We don't need sit down but are not opposed to it. We are trying to have some less scheduled nights, the dinner adr EVERY night was too much last trip, but I digress. Any faves, I am not the familar with this area. Thanks!

Are you on dining plan? This makes huge difference in what is suggested at DTD...because not much is on the dining plan.

If you don't want to eat at a table service location I would highly recommend Earl of Sandwich because their sandwiches are very good, their prices are very reasonable and it's also on the Dining Plan.

Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express for CS - both are really good.

Our clear favorite for TS is Raglan Road.

We love Earl of Sandwich and ate there Nov '08 with DD10 and DS2. You walk through the line, order, get your food and sit down. There might of been a little wait for some of the food, but it wasn't long. I know what you mean about too many sit down meals with a 2-3 yr old :scared:

Raglan Road is my favorite because they have Harp on tap. Fulton Crab House (Empress Lily for the old timers) is also very good but not on DDP.

It's all about the beer though..... I really miss the AC and PI though.

Bring back the beer! sorry I meant to say the clubs......

Oh and Semper Fi for those who know what I mean.

My family and I thoroughly (sp?) enjoy eating at the Rainforest Cafe. While some items here can be expensive, if you plan on a 'burger' type meal it wouldn't be too bad. I love the atmosphere and how fun it is. I always wanted to try a volcano (dessert) and finally got to when i went to one in Galveston. It's definitely a unique experience that I think everyone should try at least once!!

my family really REALLY loved wolfgang puck. it was the most amazing food we had the whole trip (and we loved all the food we had in disney!) the bread was incredible, and everyone loved their entree (mine was three cheese ravioli). haven't been since 2003 so the menu has probably changed a little.

don't forget to save dessert for GHIRARDELLI!!!!!!!

Wolfgang Pucks!!!!!!!!!! I never can remember which one though....we like the one with the Macadamia Nut-Crusted Chicken Breast. Oh my goodness! (And we can split one between 2 adults it's so big!)

My vote is Earl of Sandwich. I haven't had any of the other foods in DTD (other than Ghiradelli). However, the sandwiches at EoS are wonderful and large enough to be split between two people, at least in the case of my DW and I.

Just ate at Raglan Road this week- food was good but not remarkable. Those who had salmon LOVED it (and it was recommended by the waiter). Beef stew was good though small serving size. FIsh and chips was nothing to write home about. (and I would not get it again)/
Overall - just OK, not bad, not great(except for the salmon)

Wolfgang Puck Express for sure!!

We enjoy Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex but it may be too much for 3 year old - dark and loud and either dinosaurs roaring or animals growling. Great theming though but I've heard mixed reviews with preschoolers!

My vote would be for Wolfgang Puck. I would vote for the Rainforest Cafe second. I disagree with many people on this board about the Rainforest. All of our meals have been good there. Debby

We love the food at House of Blues so much that we ate dinner or lunch there 4 times during our last stay at SSR. We can't wait to go to Cleveland to eat there in between WDW trips! Since we had our 3mo DS with us on the last trip, we didn't want to go inside (just too odd an atmosphere for a baby, I think) so we checked out the menu and ordered our food at the bar to go then we sat outside by the bar and listened to music and drank our beer and mixed drinks. I love there food a ton, and so does DH so as long as it's in DTD, we'll visit. If it goes away, we'll head to Cleveland for dinner now and then!

Another vote for Wolfgang Puck Express...best CS at DTD, IMHO, and one of our favorites overall! :thumbsup2

Another vote for Wolfgang Pucks !!!!! We also LOVE Earl of Sandwich for a counter service place.:banana::banana:
