Hi everyone,

There will be 13 of us heading down to HHI at the end of June.:cool1:Two of us share a birthday on July 1st. Can you give me some ideas of what to do to celebrate?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!! :cool2:

I thought of a couple of ideas:

1. Take the group to the Kurama Japanese restaurant - BIG tables - really good early birds :thumbsup2

2. Celebrate at the Tuesday night pool party or 4th of July pool party.

3. Get carryout from a bbq or pizza place and see if you can use that nice room over at the beach house.

Those are some of the things we might do. Just my two cents.

They sent a balloon bouquet with a birthday pin to the room and they will put a happy birthday notice on the resort TV channel. It was kind of nice to see a personal happy birthday on the TV. Enjoy your trip.

I would vote for the beach house...

See if you can get the resort to cater or bring over some appetizers or drinks...

In a 2bd room? popcorn:: :rolleyes1

I will have 12 that week too. Are they kids, young adults, adults, or senior adults having the Birthday. It will be crowded on the Island at this time and large groups can suffer waiting longer than smaller groups at the restaurants. Many of the good places take reservations. You can look online at www.hhidining.com. Its the online version of the book you get at check in. there is Pirate Golf. But for me, a very nice surprise would be for a cruise on the Schooner Welcome. It is an old tall ship with 2 mast that sits across from the resort. www.schooner.net
or a sail on dennis conner's Stars and Stripes over in sea pines.

I did not think of that. You could tell everyone to bring stuff to dress up like pirates and that would be fun.

(the only thing is you would have to walk through shelter cove marina as pirates. could be bad for teens)

Or it could be fun for the adults to watch the teens walk through shelter cove marina as pirates!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

We were in HH for the last 2 Thanksgiving weeks and love the resort. Last year we went with my wifes entire family of 25 (13 cousins and 12 adult types). It was my father-in-laws B-day and we talked to GS about using Beach house room. They comped our use of the room as long as it was after the events of the day in that room. We catered in food and brought our own drinks. the kids ran back and forth between pool, hot tub and party and everyone loved it. GS even brought a small gift for FIL.

Going August 20th Yee Hawww!
