Best place Sail Away meet on Deck 10?

We are cruising in less two weeks. Where is the best place to have a meet for the Sail Away Party on Deck 10? How has everyone identified eachother? Do you always where a certain color?

The official color of the DIS is lime green. Many people wear that color to identifiy themselves or they wear something that says their screename or something that says they are part of the DIS. Some people exchange photos of each other before they sail via e-mail or their cruise thread.

A good place on Deck 10 is right opposite the stage area (you have a great view of the stage from Deck 10). But really, anywhere up on deck 10 overlook the Goofy Pool is a good area.

We've always planned a Dis Meet prior to the actual Sail-away Celebration that takes place on Deck 9 (with viewing on Deck 10). Our groups have found it nice to meet right after the lifeboat drill (4:30) and right before the Sail-away party in the Promenade Lounge.

This area is quite large, is easily accessible from all areas of the ship, and is usually not as busy as the upper decks during this time period. The groups have always had plenty of time to mingle, meet, and chat and then to head up to Decks 9 and 10 for the party.

I'm sure that designating Deck 10 as your meeting spot would work, but your group would need to be more specific as to where on Deck 10 because it is quite a large area. Also, it will be quite busy and crowded at sail-away.

Our Dis meet was supposed to be on deck 10 during the sailaway party. We missed it because we couldn't find anyone.....I found out later that no one else could find each other either...So as the OP suggested you will want to be very specific about your location. We ended up directly across from the stage and it was a great spot.
