We are arriving on Thanksgiving Day this year and are wondering if restaurants have special menus, or just same old, same old? Does anyone know of anything special for Thanksgiving? 2 adults and 2 kids on dining plan. Thank you!

We have done Boma and are doing it again this year. They have traditional Thanksgiving fare alongside their regular awesome buffet options. Many of the restaurants will have turkey day options. If you are wanting the most traditional experience, Liberty Tree Tavern might be the way to go.

We did Boma a few years ago and loved it.

Disney usually doesn't release their traditional Thanksgiving offerings until the late summer...we have gone many times over Thanksgiving and made a tradition of eating at a different restaurant in the World Showcase each year...we put a fold-out turkey on our table and enjoyed food from all over the world:)
We do love BOMA and the AKL so that sounds like a good option!

If you want to do sit down in a park, I would do Liberty Tree Tavern. Delish!

We did Trails End last year, they had all their regular dinner buffet offerings plus added Thanksgivung fare. Loved it!

We had the best Thanksgiving dinner at Pepper Market! It is the QS restaurant at Coronado Springs resort. We arrived at the resort around 5:00 in the afternoon on Thanksgiving day. The resort seemed like a ghost town. We toured the resort, took some pictures, and let the little one play on the playground. We then headed over to Pepper Market for dinner. There were only two other families eating there. It was so peaceful. They had a special station set up with all the traditional Thanksgiving fare. It was super yummy! I bet most resorts have something like this on Thanksgiving.

We couldn't believe there weren't more people around...we found them the next day at the parks! They were super crowded! Haha!

We have never done Thanksgiving at WDW but we have eaten at LIberty Tree Tavern and the turkey dinner there is delicious.

We did Trails End last year and we weren't very impressed.

The wait was over an hour past our ADR. The strawberry shortcake tasted old and the vegetables were all under cooked.
The table they sat us at was an extra added in table that was huge and shoved in the corner with a massive tablecloth on it that didn't fit the table so we kept stepping on it when getting up and sitting down.
Then the old fabric chairs they dug out of a closet somewhere sat way too low for the table and felt gross.

We will be staying at the Swan this year so we will more than likely be trying Garden Grove. I hope it's better!
