Best place for quick, cheap dinner?

Popping out early evening for a quick bite but don't want to spend too much. Any suggestions for Davenport area? Know if Chilis and Applebees-what deals do they do? Anywhere else?

Lots of cheap & cheerful chains - TGIs, IHOP, Denny's, Perkins, Johnny Rockets, Friendly's etc. Most show their deals on their websites.

my family has stayed in davenport many times throughout the last 40 years.

personally my favorite places to eat in the area are the waffle house that's next to 7-11 and Travelodge.
also I love love love cracker barrel.
and I found another hidden gem during my last trip in july. its a pizza place calledmanninos (I think). its in a plaza.

Have you tried Manny's Chophouse on Hwy 27 South in Haines City.

Wednesday is Friata Night 2 for the price of one at $15

Also Happy hour is till 7pm ( 2 beers for price of 1 ),

Also Huge choice of eating places on Hwy 192 at Sherbeth Rd.

From Hwy 27 turn onto Hwy 192 go about 4 miles and go Under Flyover

And on Right is Longhorn ,Olive Garden , Bahama Breeze & Sweet Tomatoes etc

On Left ... Millers Ale House, Logans , Texas Steakhouse & More.

I have to say that, while I love Mannys, I wouldn't consider it to fall into the catgeory of either cheap or quick - but maybe that's just me I wouldn't put Longhorn Steakhouse or Bahama Breeze into those categories either (certainly not cheap).

We have only ever tried Golden Corral for lunch and it was awful but neither of us are fans of buffet places particularly (I know some do like them). Lots of cheap and cheerful options and if you don't mind a bit of a drive, Friendly's on I-Drive is fabulous. Bob Evans is another favourite of ours.

I second Bob Evans, american home style cooking, they do a meal deal which I'm sure was only about $12 for 3 courses (soup, entree and dessert). Was a hit with us, the kids and the in laws - no mean feit!

Further afield (from where we were in Davenport anyway - we only ever found the ones up near wdw) I second Ihop! Great for grabbing something late too. Who couldn't love eating breakfast at 10 at night?! I've been craving waffles since we got back!
