Hi there we will be spending our 1st wedding anniversary 8/20 while at US & IOA. We would like to enjoy a nice dinner ( we will have the kids 15 & 19) where would you go if you could eat anywhere?? Keep in mind that this is our first visit here and we know very little about US & IOA... and we are staying off site but we do have our own car.

Thanks for all your help!

Of the restaurants I've tried, I'd recommend either Emeril's or Tchoup Chop. I'm going to Bice for the first time in a few weeks and, depending on when your trip is, I can let you know how that is. I've not eaten at The Palm in Orlando, but I have eaten at a different location and it was very good but nothing extraordinary.

I agree with Emeril's. The food is great and the atmosphere and service makes it a good choice for a celebration.

One other place we really like is Mama Della's at Portofino Bay. Italian food with a warm friendly atmosphere - also great for a celebration.

Bice is lovely, and what I've eaten there has been very good. If you want an elegant Italian option, this is it. I'd take a water taxi from City Walk.

You can't go wrong at Mythos but I'd save it for 'a regular' day. Make sure to stop into Finnegan's too. Citiwalk is full of restaurants with good fare and fun vibe. Margaritaville made us an interesting balloon hat one year when my DS informed the server it was our We've yet to try either Mama Dellas or Bice as my better half doesn't eat Italian food (sigh) but did see some steak offerings.anniversary.;) but trattoria was surprisingly good but not much of a vibe.

We were disappointed with our last visit to Tchoup Chop. Service was excellent but the food was seasoned very heavily especially as to 'heat'.:confused3 We like spicey but the same dishes we've enjoyed in the past were almost too hot to eat for us. We'll probably try it again but ask the server to have the heat toned down.

Since you have a car, I'll throw out two restaurants from that other park down the road: California Grill and Narcossees, both great choices. Make sure to check out tripadvisor for reviews of other offsite venues. Friends swear Roy's is the best in town but we've never worked it into our visits, yet.

Are reservations required for any of the restaurants mentioned? We will also be looking for a nice dinner out (our trip is Nov)

I agree with Emeril's at Citywalk and Emeril's Tchoup Chop at RPR. I'll also add Latin Quarter to the list.

LOL.....wonder if that`s our fault.

We thought the meals were the blandest food we had ever eaten....even DS who likes quite plain food most of the time. We just did not enjoy it at all.

We loved Roy`s, it`s been a few years since we`ve been but it was amazing. Ruth`s Chris Steakhouse is another amazing place.....although it is expensive. But good for a special occasion.
