THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

We like the lounge at the Poly. We had DH's mother watch the kids so we could slip out for an hour (we were at SOG). I happen to love what we call "tiki drinks". I had the Sunken Treasure which was really good. DH had a Mai Tai. We just sat and listened to the performer and caught a little bit of American Idol on the big screen. Relaxing!

My Hubby and I were just there 6/1-6/6 and we really enjoyed the Adventurer's Club and The Comedy Warehouse, both of them are located in Downtown Disney Pleasure Island. They were loads of fun. The drinks down here are a little more expensive that at home but it is a lot of fun.

DF and I had a blast at Jellyrolls at the Boardwalk...its a dueling piano singalong bar...lots of fun!!! DF even loosened up enough to sing!!!

One thing we did and would do again was to take a cab back and forth from the hotels...unless you're staying at the boardwalk!!! :)

Wherever you decide to go, have fun! :thumbsup2

The bar at Artists Point at the WL is really quiet later in the evening, and sometimes early, too ! My DW and I go there while the 2 kids (15, 9) stay in the room at the WL. Have fun !:thumbsup2

I like all the above, but also wanted to add Kimonos, the Karaoke bar at the Swan. Try the Island Punch, it's delicious! :thumbsup2

Here's another vote for the POLY lounge and Jellyrolls! POLY is great if you just want to relax. The hotel is such a pretty setting. And if you are there around time for Wishes, you can see the fireworks from the lounge and they pipe in the music. Jellyrolls is a lot of fun, it's one of our favorite places to go in WDW. Just be aware it is one of the only places that allows smoking, so anyone who is sensative to smoke may not want to go there when it is crowded.

Poly lounge ~ Ohana Colada...to DIE for... grab a couple & head down to the beach...if you time it right you can sit on a swing and watch the fireworks. Truly a Magical Moment.

If you want a fun time in addition to your drinks, I recommend the River Roost lounge at POR when Bob Jackson is performing, weekends usually. The drinks are all from the now standard Disney drink menu, but Bob is a great performer and gets a lot of audience interaction. If you are in the neighborhood, he is worth the visit. :thumbsup2

We like to sit on the House of Blues terrace, people watch and enjoy the live music. Another favourite spot is the outside bar at Raglan Road. As an added bonus they are both walking distance from our "home", SSR :cloud9:

Where are you staying?

Most of the resorts have great little bars..some more than one. Or if you are close to other resorts fun to check out those as well, take a little "bar tour" lol.

i guess it really depends on what type of atmosphere you are looking for...

any of the bars at the hotel restaurants will be more of a rather calm environment but a couple of the places listed are a lot of fun to go to as well:

-jellyrolls on the boardwalk is a dueling pianos bar where the pianists play requests --- the only downside if you are a non smoker is that smoking is allowed and it gets rather smoky quickly

downtown disney probably has the most options:

-house of blues (usually has outdoor live act till 11) and bongo's cuban cafe only seats dinner till 11 but is open later for drinks (salsa dancing on friday nights) are both on the westside

-comedy warehouse (improv shows), adventurer's club (hard to explain, just make a trip there), BET (rap, hip hop club), 8track (70's and 80's club), Rock and roll beachhouse (rock and roll club, live band), motion (top 40 club), and mannequins (dance electronic club) all have bars, are non smoking, and are on pleasure island --- all better thursday through saturday

-MY FAMILY'S FAVORITE: Raglan Road in between West Side and Pleasure Island is and Irish pub/restaurant with really good beer and drinks; live Irish band, and Irish step dancer, and really good food to snack on (try the drunk chicken and guinness chicken wings!); reaturant serves till 11, bar open till 2 and can be a lot of fun :shamrock:

sorry this was so long but i hope it helps!!!

My favorite spots are the Victoria Falls in the AKL, Mizners in the GF, Bellvue Room at the Boardwalk, Territory Lounge at the Wilderness, and the Crews Cup lounge in the Yacht Club. I suppose the Poly lounge (Tambu) would be nice too--except every time we've tried it, a mob scene!! No seats.
Note that all these spots are relatively "quiet" with no live entertainment.

DH and I will be hitting Adventurers Club as often as possible on our 2 trips this year.
Kungaloosh!!!!

There are two lounges that we enjoy: The Belle Vue Room in the Boardwalk Inn and Martha's Vineyard Lounge located in the Beach Club.
After a couple of cocktails, we don't like to stray too far from home (Yacht Club). On occasion, one of us may have to be the designated walker.
