Can someone save me a trip? Who's got the best deal?

toys r us was at 40% off after 1pm yesterday, it was at 50% off before 1. Ours was pretty picked over at that time. Might be worth a run to look and see. (I bought 6 bags that were the 85-90 piece bags for $22, still have plenty left over. It was cold last night for TOT'ing, not many kids and very few after 6pm.)

Hit Target this morning, and they had NOTHING!! I grabbed a bag of dove dark chocolates on an end cap in the front of the store. On the way out the end cap was already reset with new merchandise :confused3. Got to the Halloween section and there was no bagged candy except for some candy pumkins :confused3. We were there around 11, no dvd's either. I was wondering if they pulled it for some reason. My store has never sold old like that!! I got some bounty for 50% off and some decorations.
They did have lots of costumes though.

We also headed over to Walmart and they also had nothing.

My Target has a TON of candy, but most of it is only 30% off?!! WTH?! This is new, I always go in the day after the holiday and I have never seen it anything other than 50% off. I got a few things that were half off, but not all-chocolate seemed to be the 30% target. So then I went to Walmart, and they have a lot of theirs half off, when I get to the register some rings up full price, and some decorations. The cashier said they haven't gotten around to changing all the prices yet..Helloooooooooooooooo...you open at 6:30 a.m. and it is now 11:00! We all know this is the day after, this should have been the first thing done before the store opened!

Yes, I'm irritated, you just don't stand between me and chocolate!

Target had it at 50% off. Thursday morning Toyrus had it marked down at 50%.

CVS had a ton and it's 50% off. They also had a deal for some of the candies (M&Ms, Snickers, etc.) and coke where if you bought $20 of it you got $15 off the Ice Age DVD - which is listed as available today. You have to ask for the DVD though - they had it hidden behind the counter as technically it's not supposed to be out until Tuesday. There's also a printable $2 coupon available for the DVD on the internet.

Target was 50 percent off this morning with tons of goodies. Bought a bunch to tuck away for the Christmas stockings.

i didn't buy any candy but everything else Halloween was 75% off at Walgreen's today. I imagine the candy was the same but don't know for sure.

I had fun Halloween shopping today. Here's what I found out in my area:

Walgreens and CVS candy were 50% off but nearly sold out.

Walmart didn't have any signs that candy was 50% off or any % off for that matter and had tons left. Decorations and costumes were 50% off and they had plenty of decorations and were mostly sold out of costumes.

Target was only 30% off and had lots of candy left. Decorations and costumes were 50%and most of that was gone when I got there at noon.

Party City decorations 50%, costumes all put away, halloween candy 50% off. All was almost gone at 12:30p this afternoon.

Spirit of Halloween store - everything 50% off, decent selection of costumes left, very few decorations left. Doesn't carry candy.

Halloween USA - everything 50% off, getting very picked over when I got there at 1:30pm. Not much left at all. doesn't carry candy.

I skipped JoAnn's and Michaels because they were already pretty picked over when I stopped in last week.

I figure I'll go back to Target tomorrow (it's really close to my house) and see if the candy has gone down to 50% off. I need Diet coke and it's on sale there this week.

Our Target had all the Haloween stuff with 30% off signs but they were actually 50% off. If you go to Target check the prices at the UPC scanners to see what the actual price is.
