Since the parks won't open until 10 the mornings we are there, I thought it would be fun to actually eat breakfast, something we normally skip. Any recommendations? We are staying at the Candy Cane Inn. Thanks!

How about a Character Breakfast? You can schedule the Minnie and Friends (which is inside the park) for an hour before park opening and it's a decent breakfast buffet and GREAT character interaction!

We've had breakfast at Rainforest Cafe before. It was good.

I'm hoping Earl of Sandwich is open before we get there because their breakfast sandwiches look really good.

I seem to remember La Brea Bakery having some good things for Breakfast too. But that was a long time ago.

Also, we ate breakfast at White Water Snacks at the DCA last year. It was counter service, but very good as well.

I wanted to do this, but for a 10am opening, they said the first reservation is at 9:40. 20 minutes seems too rushed to me.

Jazz Kitchen Express is one our must do's - love the beignets & they have regular breakfast items too.

We also ate at ESPN on a Sunday morning & watched the game - that was pretty good too.

You can do a character breakfast in one of the 3 hotels... they will open around 7 am... plan 90 minutes for the breakfast.

I really loved the breakfast from Rainforest Cafe too. ;)

How about Storytellers, inside the GCH? Its fun to walk throught the lobby, and gift shop, even if not staying there...

We stayed at the CCI, in August and Loved it!!!
Have a nice trip.

We love going to Ralph Brennan's a couple times each trip for breakfast.

For a lovely table service breakfast, its hard to beat Steakhouse 55 at the Disneyland Hotel.

We've done breakfast at Catal a few mornings. If the weather is nice you can sit out on the balcony and watch the people go by.

I second the beignets at the Jazz Kitchen Express! We always make that a priority for at least one morning. And their coffees here are HUGE. You can get regular coffee or chickory coffee. :thumbsup2

concur with all!!! :thumbsup2

I'm a Mimi's fan! Great, big breakfasts, coupons readily available via email, and cheaper thanDTD. Just a thought :)

Thanks for the great suggestions. We've eaten at Steakhouse 55 before - it was very good. I'm off to check out the menus at the other places.

We're HUGE fans of Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen!

And Earl of Sandwich opens on Nov. 2, for anyone interested.

My kids loved eating breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe. Make a reservation. My parents said Catal's breakfast was fantastic. When we ate breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe, we rode the monorail into the park. The monorail station is right next to the RFC.
