Best pick up time for car rental when you get off the boat...

So on the day your cruise ends, what is the ideal time to pick up your car from the car rental office at port? Is 9:00 am enough time? Or should I pick an earlier/later time? Any thoughts greatly appreciated! Tia!

I guess it depends on what your plans are for the day. Are you driving to the airport, what time is your flight? Are you driving to WDW and want to hit the parks by a certain time? Whatever time you choose, be aware there could be a line at the car rental when you arrive to pick-up the vehicle, especially if other cruiselines also have a ship debarking that same morning.

I always go with 10 am. We have late breakfast and I allow for time to get off of the ship and shuttle time to the agency.

You can always put 10 & it would be better to show up early than put 9 & be late. You don't want to pay $$ penalty if you don't have to.

We were off the ship by 7:30.

Thank you, everyone! I will put 10 down...so I'm not stressed. It's definitely better to be early than late, for sure! And we have practically the whole day before having to get back to the airport...

I would say 9 am unless you really want to stay on the ship to the very last minute.
