Best park for when you sleep in

I would say Epcot as long as it isn't on an early entry day. The lines were not too bad there at all this past week even at Test Track as long as you got a Fast pass.

I'd say Epcot too. I can usally tour that park at a slower pace. That may change if the hype of Mission Space grows.

I would agree with Epcot. We have done this many times. Depending on how late what we have done is taken the bus to MGM and then taken the boat from there to Epcot entering via the international gateway right into the worlds. The boat also stops at Boardwalk so if you have time you can stop buy the BW Bakery and have a nice pastery and coffee.

:earsboy: :earsgirl:  :sunny:

I'd say Epcot too. Actually, any but Animal Kingdom would be good. The animals all sleep in the afternoon. (Can't blame 'em!)

I agree, Epcot is probably the best if you want to sleep in. We have also done AK on a "sleep in" day... in fact, we only had to wait 10 minutes to ride Dinosaur, but the fastpass return times for Kali River Rapids were pretty late by that time. Also, we did this in the off season, when it wasn't so hot in the AK in the afternoons.

I was going to suggest AK also, since most folks go early and leave fairly early in the afternoon. AK has a great parade that goes around 4pm. You could watch it over in Harambe then jump on the last safari for the day.

We've slept in late, swam in the hotel pool, then hit FW at Epcot about 1pm - worked really well - except all the fatpasses for TT had gone.

This time we are going to AK late in the day - for the parade - then doing the trails and then the safari - if it is still too busy - we'll get the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch.

Epcot.
But this time when we go, we may try AK later in the afternoon. As long as it isn't really hot.....we want to see the parade. So may do the Lion King show, parade at 4pm then the safari last. We have never done the safari late in the day.

If you want to see the parade, you will not be able to see the 4 pm Festival of the Lion King show, as it will be at the same time. The parade at AK is always at 4 pm.

I would also say Epcot thats what we did we planned to sleep in one of the days we were there and decided to do Epcot which was a good decision no long lines and nowhere as many people as the other parks you can kindof sit back and take your time.

I would also say EPCOT, but you didn't say when you were going to be there. I would check the park opening/closing times and go to the park that stays open the latest.

We sleep in every day. Heck, we're on vacation! :p

My answer would depend on what time of year you go. If you go in the winter, any park will be ok to hit mid-day.

If you go in the warmer, more crowded summer months, then listen to everyone elses advice and ignore mine. LOL

I miss read this and thought you were asking which park was best to sleep in. LOL. The answer for this would be MK, you can just ride the train around and around :)

We are with you, HauntedMansionGeek. If we chose only one park to go to after sleeping late, it would be the ONLY park we would ever get to go to. I've heard that the parks open as early as 9AM, and sometimes 8AM. But as far as we know, this is just a rumor. We do occasionally get out EARLY for an 11:15 character breakfast, but we try not to do this too often. You know, we don't want to wear ourselves out.

You can probably judge by my answer that we don't have any young kids (who seem to want to get up when the sun does) and that we go during off season. You would be right.

I would say Epcot. You can tour at your own speed and if FW is too crowded, you can always venture into WS, or vice versa.
