Best park for 4th of July fireworks?

Which park has the best 4th of July Fireworks? Celebrations? Activities?
Which is the most crowded?

Do the festivities only happen on July 4th? or is it a "week long event"?

After posting a similar question in the past, we have decided to stay at the Polynesian pool during the day of the 4th to avoid the huge crowds. We are then going to Epcot for dinner at Le Cellier at 5:00 pm. We will then stay for the Epcot fireworks show.

According to others who have been there on the 4th, Epcot handles the crowds much better than MK and the fireworks are supposed to be fantastic. I am sure AK and MGM would be less crowded than MK as well, although I don't know what type of shows they will have.

As for other festivities or activities during the week, I have not heard of any.

IMO MGM has had the best in the past. The times I've been MGM, Epcot, and MK, were sold out, closed by 6o pm. The crowd is diffrent too they bring blankets, spread them on the ground and you can't hardly move around the viewing areas.

I have visited on the 4th and will be going back again this year my, favorite is Epcot, they have a great show and the crowds seem to be managed well. I usually head over through the interanational gateway and walk to Boardwalk then catch a bus DT and visit PI to end the night, great fun.

Its pretty crowded on the Weekend before after the 4th, it slows some but if you plan ahead and expect big crowds, you can still have a great time.
