best or cheapest airport from gulf beaches

going to parks a couple days then over to Clearwater. Will fly into Orlando. Don't really want 2 hour drive to airport for flight home. Clearwater/St Pete rate high. I have gone through Tampa before, but I am coming up with high rates here also. Any other suggestions?

About the only other one that is close is Sarasota (SRQ). Go to www.kayak.com and enter TPA as the destination (or origination) for your flight dates and click the box for "include nearby airports". That will search for the best price at all the local airports.
