Best (or better) Fast food in WDW

My family and I (DH, DD 7, DD 21) are going for a short trip in Oct. We have a habit of eating our way through vacations... however, this time I would like to limit our eating to smaller meals (ha ha) and enjoy more time at the attractions. We will be there for the first week of the FWF, so I will definately be eating my way through EPCOT. But I was wondering about fast food, any good suggestions?

in MK we love to go to Cosmic rays......I get the chicken ceasar salad and hubby loves the cheeseburger with the fixing bars...I have had their soups and they are great too.....
In MGM we usually go to the backlot express or Rosies near Tower of Terror....alot of good selections.

In Epcot the selections are ALOT.....I love outside Mexico and The Lands new place......alot of choices and wonderful.....Just get a brochure on the way in and it will list the cs places with the selections they usually have.

In DTD we are regulars at Earl of Sandwich......give that place a try too..

Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express are certainly two fast food places you can count on for a great meal.

I like Pecos Bill, Cosmic Ray's burgers at MK (heard from a friend that the 1/2 Chicken and BBQ Ribs are great and that 2 can share them). Liberty Inn at Epcot(american food, I am not that brave to try alot of different food). Toy Story Pizza Planet at MGM is good. Animal Kingdom's Flame Tree Barbeque has a good barbeque sandwich.

I think the best to fast food places at WDW are Flame Tree Barbeque and the place in Africa has great wraps and corn chowder.

We usually eat at TS at all the other parks.

Epcot-San Angel (combo platter and Conga Juice)
Boulangerie Patisserie (quiche and dessert)
Disney's Hollywood Studios-Staring Rolls (sandwiches and desserts)
AK-Flame Tree BBQ

MK - Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station (Chicken Teriyaki)

AK - Flametree Barbecue (used to be the Tusker House before they decided to close it)

MGM - Studio Catering Co. Flatbed Grill

Epcot - The Garden Grill at "The Land" -or- Sommerfest at Germany

EPCOT - The food court in The Land is about as good as fast food gets, IMHO.

Pissafari - Chicken parmesan sandwich

Disney Studios
I always eat at Sci-Fi, so not really fast:
Shrimp penne pasta

Epcot:
Sunshine seasons - Bowl of fresly made soup (in this case, cream of potato and bacon) and the Asian station selection

Magic Kingdom:
Columbia Harbour house - Garden galley salad

AK kind stinks for CS meals - I usually just get a popcorn and ice cream

We have just returned from WDW and really enjoyed Pecos Bill at MK, Lotus cafe, Sunshine Seasons and Electric Umbrella at Epcot and Pizzafari at AK. Also Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich at Downtown are a really good choice (esp on DDP) for something a bit different. Earl's Hawaiian chicken is excellent.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

thank you! this will definately make my choices easier. I try to explain to everyone...the smell of WDW is what gets me...it is like walking into my grandmother's kitchen, I automatically think about food

How is the fish and chips at Rose & Crown? I am really tempted!

MK - I like Pecos Bill's best, but that's mostly for atmosphere. If I'm hungry and in Tomorrowland, I'll go to Cosmic Ray's.

Epcot FW - Sunshine Seasons
Epcot WS - Cantina de San Angel, Tangerine Cafe.

DS - It makes no difference to me at all.

AK - I liked Tusker House for breakfast and Flame Tree for lunch/dinner. But Tusker House is turning into a character meal. I dunno if they're going to have fast food breakfasts or what. Someone else will know, though.

DTD - Earl of Sandwich, if it isn't too crowded.
