Best option: Lines to buy tickets at on-site hotel or risk the mail?

We leave in just 1.5 weeks to head to Florida for a cruise, followed by 1 day @ USF AFTER the cruise. We're staying at a hotel on-site and here's the question:

how bad of a wait will we encounter if we get our tickets to USF at the hotel when we check in (this will likely be around 10:00 or so) ? I'm afraid to order online as I'm fearful of not getting our tickets before we leave home. Online orders say they can take 10 days. Other thought--order online but have tickets sent to our hotel instead of to our home?? Since we're cruising for 1 week first, our actual stay at USF won't be for 2.5 weeks, so they could be sent to our hotel and be waiting for us there??

Any thoughts on this would be sooooo appreciated!

If it were me, I would get them when you check into your hotel. Its quick and its a sure thing, no worries with the time game. You should not worry about lines at your hotel's concierge. You can even save time by having one person check-in while the other buys the tickets at Concierge. Have a great cruise and vacation!

Why not purchase your tickets online and pick them up at a kiosk at the park? This option saves you time AND money as you don't have to pay shipping charges and there is no waiting in line for tickets. Just save your confirmation number and bring the credit card you used to purchase your tickets. We chose this option for our trip next month.

It puts my mind to rest knowing that I don't have to worry about ordering them for delivery to my home, much simpler doing either of the ways you both describe. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

P.S. JessicaR--I also am posting a thankyou on another thread--take a look for it, as I wanted to say thanks to you---I think you are the one who have saved me more money by telling me of recent entertainment card availability/recent opening up of dates. I changed my entertainment rate from Portofino to Royal Pacific!
