I think Ant Man would be a very viable and interesting attraction in Epcot that is Marvel-based. I think any attraction in Future World needs some sort of science or technology base to fit in with the original (Roy's anyway) intention for the park. It would be kind of like the old Disneyland Inner Space ride, I think. There's a lot of interesting, yet fictional or futuristic science behind Ant Man. We could shrink smaller than the atom and go sub-atomic and even enlarge to a giant like in the last Captain America. It would probably have to be a simulator ride though, maybe something that combined a more modern visual technology from Star Tours and the simulated motion feel of Mission Space Orange. I think the physical sensation of changing size would be very dramatic.
What do you think? Would Ant Man be a viable option for Epcot that wouldn't ruin the spirit behind the park? What are your ideas for Marvel in Epcot? Feel free to ignore or not ignore the Universal contract about Marvel for this discussion. Take the poll and let us know your ideas.
