Can anyone advise of good viewing places - outside of parks - for Wishes and Illuminations? DS is 3 yrs. and we are worried about crowds and his ability to handle being at the parks this late. Turned 3 a month ago and now seems to be sure he doesn't need an afternoon nap - but by 5-6PM.............look out, that is a challenging time of day for him. He loves fireworks and all of the lights, so we hope to be able to enjoy these shows atleast once.

I'm not positive about Wishes, but as for Illuminations, the bridge connecting the Boardwalk and the Beach Club has a spectacular view of the Illumintions fireworks! :sunny:

I love to watch Wishes from the top of the Contemporary. There is an observation deck just outside of the restaurant. They even pipe in the music

Do you need a reservation to view them at the Contemporary or can you just go up. We are planning our first family trip in Jan. and are planning Chef Mickey's as our first dinner the day we arrive to start off our magical vacation. Just wondering how to go about seeing Wishes without actually using one of our days. Thanks.
