Best non-park Disney breakfast?

Hey all,
I'm going to Disney Nov. 27 for 27 hours of magical recharging.
My first day I'm going to Kona Cafe for breakfast then Artist Point for dinner, then MVMCP.
My question is, where should I go for breakfast the morning I leave?
I am 27 and will be a solo traveller this trip, so I'm worried I will be the weird loner in the corner if I do a character breakfast, although I do love my Goofy!
I'm not going to the parks, so it would have to be a resort breakfast.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

My vote is for the Cape May breakfast! We love this one. And don't think of yourself as the "weird loner!" We have seen a few people solo at character breakfasts and we always smile....because if we could, DH and I would go to WDW solo in a heartbeat and be doing the same thing!!!

Goofy is there, too! :goodvibes

Enjoy!! We will be at MVMCP the same night.

Our family favorite is breakfast at Boma's at AKL. :thumbsup2

I'd vote for Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary. Fun atmosphere, one last view of Magic Kingdom, and great character interaction (including Goofy). Good food too, and a large variety to boot.

I'm 24, and I'd have no shame going to a character breakfast or dinner by myself if I went to WDW by myself. I've seen solo diners on my trips as well, and the characters seemed to still pay a good amount of attention to them. We "big people" can have fun with the characters too, IMO, and thankfully by and large Disney seems to promote that idea too. :goodvibes

Have a great trip! :wizard:

Another vote for Cape May here...I took my DGD7 in April and really enjoyed it...the low-key ambience and great food, good service, and smaller seating area made for a delightful meal. And I used it as our send-off on the last morning, too. Booked a late seating and counted it as our lunch.

I like the breakfast buffet at the Galley Restaurant, Yacht Club USA.. ;) :)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I think I'm going to go with Cape May- I've never done that one, plus I'll get to see Beach Club's chocolate carrousel.

I guess what I really should have asked was if I wa sgoing to be okay at a character breakfast alone. But I'm sure I'll be fine. If nothing else, the buffet menu looks pretty darn yummy!
