Best non-nut desserts?

Hi everyone!

There's nothing better to me than great desserts, and I looove chocolate. My problem is that I'm allergic to peanuts and tree nuts (so pretty much everything with the word "nut" in it somewhere). Every chocolate dessert I run into almost always has peanut butter, hazelnut, almonds, or other stuff I can't eat!

Do any of you know of any restaurants that have any particular non-nut dessert that you really recommend? I happen to love chocolate but I'm open to any and all suggestions! Thanks!

Let see......

The ones that stand out the most in my memory are the Plaza and 1900 Park Fare. My kids ate their very first banana splits at the Plaza and OMG the dessert tower made by Chef Tj one trip was amazing. We're off a whole lot more than just tree nuts and peanuts so we don't have nearly as many options as you do. I'm sure there are many others that would wow you as well. Mostly we get soy ice creams, sorbets and Enjoy Life cookies because of our long lists of allergies. Depending on your level of sensitivity, Babycakes goodies might be another option for you. You should check out their allergy statement to see if you're comfortable with their products or not. Their donuts are their best products. If you're not used to gluten free products then you'll likely find the cupcakes a bit off-putting but the donuts are really good as are their cookies.

Thanks!! Sorry I'm new and I had no idea that there were specific allergy reviews on here already! Food allergies are really common these days so its nice that it isn't so hard to get information anymore. Thanks!!

I love Raglan Road's Jaffa Dunbrody Kiss (no nuts that I know of). It's chocolate mousse, covered with ganache, on a soft shortbread-like cookie bed with orange marmalade.
