Best New England Disney Store?

I am having EXTREME Disney withdrawal, so I want to visit a Disney Store this weekend. The stores in Salem NH, Manchester NH, Peabody MA, and Saugus MA are all about the same distance for me (1 & a half hour drive)

Does anybody have any input on these locations? Is one store bigger/better than the others? I'm mostly interested in adult stuff and holiday stuff.

Manchester is perfectly ordinary....it is clean and well stocked and has limited adult and ornaments. I think Salem is bigger and has more wow factor, if you know what I mean. Both NH stores are tax free!!!!!!

I haven't been to the mall in Salem for a long time. I was thinking of the North Shore mall because of Nordstrom, Cheesecake Factory and Sephora but the real mission is Disney stuff so I'd rather go to the best Disney store.

The Manchester and Salem stores IMO have similar merchandise. The Manchester one feels a little bigger to me though it is darker. Neither has much if any adult clothes and even clothes bigger than 8/10 is hard to find at either. I seem to get better clearance options at the Manchester store but obviously that's very hit or miss.

There is a Sephora in the Salem mall. There's also a Macy's and a Coach store (not outlet). The mall is right near an area with lots of restaurants but certainly nothing like Cheesecake Factory. They have the typical Gap, Aeropostale and all the other big name stores for teens and trendy young adults (something I'm NOT) but not a lot for actual grown ups. They do have a Lane Bryant which is something some of us like.

I know its further away but the store in Marlborough at the Solomon Pond Mall is an original store so it has all the characters still on the ceiling its not huge though

Second the Solomon Pond Store -really nice! I also like the store at the Nashua NH- Pheasant Lane Mall. Skip the Burlington Mall, the Disney Store is just an empty storefront with merch and not particularly inspiring!

I was at the Salem NH store on Sunday and they didn't have much!

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely check out the one at Solomon Pond Mall, I go to the Borders there fairly often.

The Saugus MA store definately isn't worth a long drive. It is a basic store. IT has some kids clothes, adult tshirt, lots of stuffed animals, toys etc. Adult tshirts do go to 2x. I heard today that Halloween costumes are slim pickings. Unfortunately Fanieul Hall in Boston had a nice Disney Store that went out of business.

Agreed! I always find something in Nashua and am always disappointed in the Burlington location. I had spoken to a cast member at Burlington about the decor (it still looks like the Limited to me with some Disney stuff thrown in) and she had said that they were going to remodel all the stores with new theming. That was last winter and it still looks the dull.

I can't remember, but does the Natick, MA mall have a Disney store? I LOVE the Natick mall but I honestly can't remember if there's one there or not.

i was in Natick a couple months ago and you can't even tell that is a Disney store...it looks like a high end children's clothing store. Period.

I go to Solomon Pond...I'm DYING to go to the store in NYC....maybe next week.

We went to the Solomon Pond mall and Burlington Disney stores today. I agree that the Solomon Pond store looks much better but both were similar in merchandise. Practically nothing for adults or home. The things that saved the day were finding quite a few pieces of the MAC Disney Villans makeup collection, and lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.

Ok... looking for a good Disney store near Deerfield/Kingston, NH or Rowley, MA... or somewhere in between....

Well, We have one at Square One Mall as well. And there is a Disney Store inside JCPenney at The Maine Mall.
