Best nearby hotel with 2 bathrooms?

We have 3 daughters, so we definitely need 2 bathrooms, but would rather be in a suite than 2 hotel rooms.

I think I'm leaning toward Desert Inn, but the Carousel's rooms look nicer. Anyone have experience with both? Is the Carousel worth the extra money?

Are there any other hotels with 2 bathroom suites I should consider? (I ruled out Tropicana and I think Residence Inn Maingate is farther away than we'd like.)

I know I asked this question before, but I'm still undecided and hotels have opened up so that I'm able to book now. Thanks!

We think the RI Maingate is great for the 6 of us.(we also have 3 daughters).Multi-faceted hot breakfast, easy walk, free grocery shopping and they will put everything away, on the A.R.T. route, right down from the Garden Walk plus Marriott points also has a small store.

Good luck with your hunt,

Jack

We stayed at the Desert Inn a few years back with 6 of us and had one of the suites. Yes, it has two bathrooms but we felt it was incredibly small. Not to mention we found it very old and didn't care much for our stay there at all.

We have stayed at the RI Maingate and really liked it but we were not in a family suite. I know they have renovated rooms now and they look really nice. Keep in mind, they are undergoing renovations right now that continue into next year.

Thanks for replies.

About how long does the walk take from RI Maingate? It looked kind of far on a map.

And is the area safe for a couple of teenage or young 20 something girls to walk by themselves at midnight? I'm thinking my husband and I will wear out before my daughters will. That's why I'm looking at hotels right across from the parks.

My family loves Desert Inn and Suites. The C1 family suite is 1.5 baths, and the C2 has 2 full baths. We found the C2 to be quite a bit roomier since it had a lounge area with 3rd Tv at the entry. We also enjoyed 2 full bathrooms as it made getting ready for the park. And the location is awesome!

The HoJo Kids' Suite has 2 bathrooms - it is two full rooms, each with a bath. One with a king bed and one with a bunk plus a pull out (3 twins total). A tv in each - our family loves it! Plenty of room for 5-6.
