I'm going in a few weeks on a solo trip. Since I won't have to put up with children making gagging sounds, I think I would like to get mussels one night at one of my meals. I see them on several menus.. Any reviews on where they are best?

Jiko's has mussels as an appetizer and it's terrific (and a very generous portion :thumbsup2).:goodvibes

All you can eat at Cape May Cafe clam bake buffet though,Captain's Grille has appetizer mussels so does Le Cellier but mine were gritty there a couple of years ago Yuck!!

I do like the Jiko mussels but when they had them in the red sauce a few years ago they were better. I might say Flying Fish has the best. Definitely can't go wrong with Flying Fish, Jiko, or Narcossee's.

Le Cellier, believe it or not. If you like spicy mussels. No grit, September 2009.

Another vote for Cape May Cafe for their all you can eat mussels *and* crab legs!
