best months for 7 month resie?

I am waiting on a resale to come through for SSR.I have been a Disney fan fo years, and have brought my children and now my grandchildren there many times. I really should of bought into DVC a long time ago. But I never really took the time to understand it and always thought it was too expensive. Now thousands of $$$ later I realize it. I guess better late than never??
I love ALL the resorts for different reasons, and different ages of my grandchildren. So my question is; What months are easier to try to book at the 7 month mark?

It really depends on the resort, unit size and booking category, but in general -

September, May and mid January to mid February are the easiest times to get DVC accomodations at 7 months.

The summer months are easier than Fall or Spring months.

Remember - that's in general.

As an example -- we are going to WDW April 28 - May 6, 2009 and I booked our trip at BCV at the 11 month mark. Yesterday was the 7 month window and I was able to get a Dedicated 2Br at VWL with no problem at all!
