Best Moderate Room

What is your favorie moderate resort just because of the room condition. I am thinking about CSR or CBR. We plan on going August 2009.

For us - Coronado Springs wins out by a long shot. Feels newer and cleaner.

Moving this to resorts.. you will get more answers although the RB people have their faves..

CBR will be doing a full rehab this fall, so it will probably the most clean and updated. They are totally redoing their main pool area also and the rooms there are the largest of the moderates.

Well, CBR may have some freshly refurbished rooms by next August - it already a beautoful resort - think of a vacation within a vacation! And it has the largest rooms of all the moderates - 340 sq ft at CBR, but 315 at the other 3 mods. Even WL and AKL std rooms are just barely larger than CBR

Some guests do complain about the buses, but if you do a search you will find loads of bus complaints for just about every Resort.

We've never minded the CBR buses (or any buses other than the EPCOT resorts) - standing under a quaint waiting area and watch the buses arrive..wondering if your destination will be next

Have stayed at 3 of the the 4 mods, with POR the most recent(6/08). None have failed to impress. The rooms have been comfortable with your selected bedding and a table with a pair of chairs. Each resort has had their own appeal. CBR is colorful with a real Caribbean flair. CSR is a bit more stark, but has the most amazing theme pool of those we have enjoyed. POR is more compact than either of the first two and is very lush. IMHO, you simply can't go wrong with whichever you pick.

I would have to say CBR simply for the extra storage space in the room alone. (Not sure about CSR, never stayed there.) The CBR rooms have a counter across both sinks and a shelf underneath vs just 2 pedestal sinks at POR. Also, there is a bench w/ a big drawer in it at CBR, vs not having one at POR. The storage makes a big difference for us.

CSR!! The pool is fantastic and my kids love the arcade and playground with the giant sandbox. The Pepper Market has tremendous food and if you're on the dining plan, its a great value. If not, the portions are huge and can be shared.

Because of its location, the bus service is terrific! Some of the best we've experienced at WDW.

I love CSR for the atmosphere, great CM's and the deluxe-lite feel. CSR offers a spa, salon, full menu room service and fitness center not to mention a terrific main pool area and the best transportation that is not shared with any other resort.

CSR is our favorite hands down and they are starting a rehab this year so rooms will be new by time you go next year in most of the resort

It took about 6 or 7 months last time.

CSR has a great main pool area, terrific atmosphere and CM's, and awesome transportation.
