Best moderate resort?

What would you guys say is the "best" moderate resort? By best i mean, best themed, best priced, ease of getting to parks, ETC..

I've stayed @ 3 (CBR, PORS & CSR) and CSR is by far the best
Convenient location
Great bus service
Beautiful landscaping and grounds
Very good food & service
And the best pool/slide/pool bar of all the MOD's

For us it's a return to CSR until we can afford POLY!!!!!

POR - Riverside for us. Boat to DTD, great theme, nice bar/lounge, new food court, super rooms.

We hated CSR due to the convention folks and the folks that came along with it. We can not state enough how much people need to avoid that hotel.

CSR!! I love CSR for the atmosphere, great CM's and the deluxe-lite feel. CSR offers a spa, salon, full menu room service and fitness center not to mention a terrific main pool area and the best transportation that is not shared with any other resort.

POR/POFQ shares transportation and that is a nightmare at times.

Love CSR! The themeing is terrific, and at night it is a magical and beautiful resort. We have NEVER been bothered by convention people and have stayed there six times (soon to be the seventh time for our 25th wedding anniversary and I would not have stayed at any other resort and DH gave me the choice of Poly if I wanted it). We have never stayed at any of the other moderates, although we have walked the grounds at all and eaten at all. POFQ would be our next choice if we were to change. POR and CAR are tied for our least favorite resorts (we'd probably stay at a value before we'd stay at them).

I don't think that you can say that one of them is the "best". Check out pics, read reviews, and pick the one that appeals to you the most. Our favorite (so far) is POFQ!

CSR! We love the main pool area and the transportation is some of the best we've experienced. I agree with the other poster about the atmosphere too!

Agreed! CSR is our favorite resort for the items you mentioned.

My favorites in order are CSR, CBR and then POFQ/POR. In my opinion CBR and CSR are pretty close.

We LOVE POR!!! We stay there every year! It is easy to get around even though it is huge. The buses and boats run smoothly. It is clean and friendly and beautiful! Enjoy

Grounds are beautiful, nicely themed, it's a relaxing get-away in itself, great food court, friendly staff, great bus service, and centrally located.

POFQ is nice, but very very small. POR seemed to have a lot of busing issues when we were at POFQ.

We would not return to CSR.

We like POR. The boat transportation to DTD is very convenient, or even if you want to drive to DTD, that's easy too. We love the landscaping and feel of POR....with that winding river running through it. It's not very far from Epcot or Hollywood Studios....it is a bit further to MK. We really like the food court at POR. We've stayed at CBR and CSR also, but our favorite is POR. All three are actually nice. I think it's the same rate at all of the mods, depending on what type of room you get.

CSR in my mind!!!

And I love the convention people, I never see them, and they arent clogging up the busses!!!!

Now I suppose you could get thrown in the middle of a group of rooms that they party in all night or something, but we didnt!!

We liked POFQ because it is the smallest of the moderates and DH doesn't like crowds (we don't take him to WDW with us too much). DD and I like CSR best- it's become our favorite. It's more "upscale" than the other moderates, we think, and love the design, options, etc. of the "food court" there- The Pepper Market! Far less like fast food and more like real dining! Also love the pool and the SLIDE!!

What more can be said. CBR Tropics beautiful areas to walk. New theme pool as well as six other pools. Nice sitting areas outside the rooms. You almost forget you are @ Disney. Nice retreat from the high energy of the rest of Disney.

Stayed at all 4. I prefer the mood of POR and POFC, and the food at CS.

They all have their nice points. Port Orleans in close to Downtown Disney, which is always a nice thing to do after the parks! Coronado Springs is fun because it is really nicely themed--but their food options are not good.
Caribbean Beach has a wonderful theming but it is very big and bus services are slower here.

CBR is my favorite. Although I love them all and would be happy to stay at any one of them. Preferably tomorrow if I could!

Just love the tropical theming, numerous pools, larger rooms, views of Illuminations and overall feel of CBR. Once the new pool is done, it will be even better.

Coronado Springs is fun because it is really nicely themed--but their food options are not good.

Wow, you really feel that way? A TS, CS, snack, mini store etc etc? Not enough options? Plus a night club type thing, and something else that I think is new also?
