Best Minivan or SUV deal?

We have a full size reserved in May with National for 10 days at $152. But DH is worried it won't hold our luggage and three golf bags. He would rather get a minivan or SUV. All the prices I'm pulling up are $300+. Has anyone found any good deals out there for May?

Have you tried Priceline? I got a $20/day rate for a week with Alamo in May. Total was $191.23 after taxes and fees. I was exceedingly happy with that.

That's a really good rate. I've only used priceline for hotels but maybe its time to try them for cars. Thanks.

I got $220 for 9 days with Alamo using free upgrade coupon from BJ's.

not sure of your travel dates, but someone on the DIS recommended www.rentalcarmomma.com I checked it out for my dates and was able to get a small SUV (Ford Escape) for 9 days for $195. It was thru Budget. Good luck!!
