Hi Tom and I were talking about sharing some meals becaise we hear some portions are huge. Since this is our first visit as adults, and the first in more than 10 years, what can you all recommend?

are you referring to CS or TS?

At CS, the one I remembered specifically was Tusker house. Their veggie sandwich was huge and so was their other dishes. I'm not sure about the salmon one though.

Also at Beaches and Cream you could get a double cheeseburger and get an extra bun or an extra side dish.

Main Street Bakery handmade ice cream sandwich is HUGE!

Pop century foot long hot dog.

Oh for Table service,
Concourse Steakhouse breakfast: Sticky Mickey is also huge.

That's all I remember so far. I'll try to post more if I have some addition.

I want any sharing info you have! Trying to stretch the dining plan! LOL maybe fit in a few more TS or CS

50's PT has HUGE portions - we have always split there and DH and I can barely finish our half.

We always share when we go to Alfredo’s

Often we will order one meal and an appetizer to split at sit down restaurants.

Magic Kingdom:
Tony's - Spaghetti - huge portions

MGM:
Prime Time Cafe - all portions are huge. Don't skip the milk shake.

EPCOT:
Le Celliers - get two bowls of soup and then split your entree. I highly reccomend the fillet.

Rose and Crowne - again 2 appetisers and then split the entree - Fish and Chips.

Resorts:
CA Grill - expensive buy yummy. Order a fire brick pizza for an appetiser. Each get a salad, and then split an entee. Everything on the menu is awesome and you cannot beat the view.

We've split meals at Tangerine Cafe, Beaches and Cream, and CRT. Except at Tangerine Cafe (of course), the meals came out of the kitchen on 2 separate plates, already split.

Everything on the dinner menu at Kona Cafe, sandwiches and salads on the lunch menu at Liberty Tree Tavern, sampler platters at Marrakesh, anything on the dinner menu at Alfredo's, flat breads from Mama Melrose, sandwiches and quesadillas at Whispering Canyon, sandwiches at Electric Umbrella, breakfast at Tusker House, many things from Main St. Bakery, etc. Dh and I always say we're going to do more sharing, but we rarely do. They food on the menus just sounds too good to order only one item!

DD and I do this one! The cheese soup is yummy and she won't share that :)

We find that because of the heat, we just can't eat that much and she and I usually share everywhere except the buffets. Teppanyaki is a good place to share. We always get a scallop side and the shrimp and lobster entree.

Definately share at Flame Tree Barbecue at AK. DH and I are both big eaters but we could have shared this meal. The portions are huge.
