I'll give you both mine and my DH...we have very different likes and dislikes...here goes:
Mine: I love to have a late lunch at Chefs de France. I love French food AND wine. I try to get a table in the atrium room (all windows) and I usually have pate and chicken in pastry (not sure if they have this..it's been awhile). Order a bottle of wine and just sit and enjoy the food, atmosphere AND we people watch while eating. Love having two or three french waiters fawning over us! This is great on hot days....gives you a respite from the heat.
DH: He loves lunch on the patio at Rose & Crown. Fish and chips, BEEF anything, and guiness. In his opinion....what could be bad. This, too, allows for people watching and if the weather cooperates...this is wonderful! We especially like a sunny fall day in the sixties/seventies.
Whichever you choose...you're in Disney World...what can really be THAT bad. Do what we do sometimes and just eat and drink your way around the world. Grab a snack at every pavillion and watch the shows...that's fun, too!
I find, too, that opinions vary so much that it is hard to choose. Add different tastes and restaurants that have a tendency to be inconsistent in service and quality and you never know. I just go and make the best of what happens. I know that the food tends to be expensive for most, but hey, who cares...YOU ARE ON VACATION IN DISNEY WORLD!
