Hi all,

We've got 7 adults and 6 kids in our group and we would like to have lunch together - nothing too big since we are having dinner with Cindy at 1900 Park Fare that night. I thought the Plaza Rest. would be nice since its a sit down place with (I hope!) air conditioning (we are going mid to late June) and serves sandwiches but I heard its small. Is that a good place for lite eating and a group of 13? If not are there any other suggestions? Do any of the fast food places have a/c?
Thanks for your help!

We just got back yesterday and while at MK we ate at Pinocchio Village in Fantasyland. It Was quick, cheap, air conditioned, lots of tables and good fast food. We always ate lunch around 11:30am(at counter services) and never had to wait more that a couple minutes in line even though it was very busy when we were there. We also ate at Columbia Harbor House (Liberty Square) around 5pm and that was also very good.If you go to MGM stay away from ToyStory Pizza planet this was the worse meal of our trip.

I would suggest lunch at CRT. It's not a character meal like Park Fair but rather a very nice sit down menu lunch. Eating in the castle is a real treat for everyone and it made a nice break to our day. The food was delicious.

Hi all!

Thanks for your help - its very hard to please a big group with ages from 60 to 12 months!

I love Cosmic Rays. It is very big and has lots of seating. Also, is air conditioned. It also has a little show. I forget what it is called but the kids and adults like it. The food selection is sure to please everyone in your group. I LOVE the rotisserie chicken and mashed potatoes. You can get a family meal that consists of a whole rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and corn muffins. We ordered it and it was delicious. If you just order the chicken meal it does not come with corn muffins. sob sob. They were so good. Good luck with your quest. I don't think you can go wrong with Cosmic Rays. You can also look at www.wdwig.com for the menu at Cosmic Ray's and see what variety they offer.

Another vote for Comsic Rays. We never miss this place.

It is large with plenty of seating, air conditioned and they provide entertainment. :) Plus the food is great for counter service. I love their spicy chicken sandwich.

I don't like to be the bearer of bad news, but we tried Cosmic Ray's on our last visit and it was such a disappointment. I felt I spent way too much money and the food was not even "ok"!

After spending many hous on these boards....I have decided that on my next visit I will be trying Peco's Bills or Pinnochios Village Haus.

Keep reading these boards.......I'm sure you will find many different reviews of many different places. The only thing is.....go with a plan. Last time we wasted an hour trying to decide where to go to lunch and then were were quite disappointed with Cosmic Rays!

Good Luck and have a great trip!

Here's another vote for Cosmic Rays. My family of 4 got the Cheesburgers and frie and we LOVED them!! We plan on eating here any time were in WDW.

Don't feel bad.Its good to see differing opinions. We all have different tastes and you could have hit it on a bad day or it was just not your idea of a good meal. We personally like going to Cosmic Rays to have a stack sandwich and listen to Mr Cheese himself SONNY ECLIPSE

If it were me I would do one of the following

if I was staying onsite and it was an EE day...
Get to park early then have the last seating for breakfast at CP (or if your dinner is after say 6 or so, an early lunch)

If it was not an EE day ... make a pre park opening PS for CP, you should be full until dinner, or you could have a light lunch/snack break. I would plan that at Peco's Bills during the afternoon parade and sit outside.

If eating breakfast elsewhere, not arriving until late morning etc ...
I would eat luch at Peco's Bills (but get there bu 11:30 or so) if you arrive at any counter service place around noon-1 you could have a long wait.

We always have had good food and service at the Columbia Harbor House. It is reasonably priced and we usally get in easily. Also like Pecos Bills too. Good luck!

My vote is for Columbia Harbor, we were there at christmas and you could get in and find a table in a few minutes. A lot of people don't know it's there. I remember them having a few big (8 people) round tables.
