Hi,

Heading to the Halloween party at Disneyland on 9/30 and was wondering where's the best location to watch the special fireworks. I will be alone, so maneuvering around the park should be easy.

Thanks!!

A clear view of the Castle and Mattherhorn. It will be extra busy for these shows. Early in the day look for places where you can see these areas. Not where trees or buildings obstruct the view.

The best spot to watch the fireworks is in front of SB castle. Since you are solo, you can get a dead center spot with about 15 to 30 minutes until the fireworks start. You want to see the castle during the fireworks since Zero will be flying in the sky at the beginning of the show.

I thought that the Disneyland Halloween Party was only scheduled for October 28th & 31st. I'm trying to figure out weather or not it would be purchasing tickets to go on Halloween or not.

Oh no, It's starts on Friday the 30th of September and is each Friday, Monday the 4th of October. Each Tuesday after the first week of October. Then ends with the party on Halloween day.

Lots of information about the season and parties in this link.

Will the fireworks for Halloween be any different from the fireworks they shoot on regular days?

So with our kids we should be in front of the castle kinda by the Walt and Mickey statue -- but right before the sidewalk hits the street?

Very much so yes. Halloween Screams is a very special show shown only to the Mickey's Halloween Party ticketed guests.

That is a excellent spot but people show up early for it. If you look in mvf-m11c signature he has a link to his movies of fireworks shows. This is for his film of RDCT from that location. http://www.youtube.com/user/mvfm11c#p/u/12/EAYm_utWGug I would suggest looking at a different firework shows in his movies if you want an idea but not the Halloween ones so you can keep some surprise as to what will happen.

You can watch from the other side of the street near the castle too, the ede is where the pavement goes from reddish to pinkish, but the middle of the street is kept open to let people walk by. If you have the time and patience(I have no way to time it, you just have to be there) to wait until those ropes go up it can work great to get an unobstructed view. But, if behind the rope on a walkway people will walk in front of you, if you are on the side they will walk next to you. So ideally you are on the castle side of the ropes. If you haven't been, it can be a shock when you are sitting and waiting and then asked to stand before the show which happens on the sides of the hub and mainstreet.
