Best in room food/snack to keep in room

My DD4 loves mini whole-wheat bagels with single serve PB cups and a small banana or apple for breakfast!

Oh man, Publix saved us breakfast wise when we drove to The World! We really liked having granola bars, juices, waters...my parents got some coffee. And then there were the Pop-Tarts...eating like junk on vacation is the best. At least, when it's not burning hot. :sad2:

If you stay at a moderate you have a fridge.
FYI...Every Disney resort hotel room- value, moderate, deluxe, and deluxe villa- has a fridge.

We do Kind bars, trail mix, & pop tarts. Light breakfasts are good for us so we can eat the desserts that come with our meals and snacks throughout the day.

We always pack oatmeal for breakfast, microwave popcorn, flavored drink packets, cookies and some candybars.

We flew Southwest when we went at the end of January...I'm not sure which airline you are flying. We, too, used DME, and so we didn't have a way to go off property to get food for our room. Southwest allows each passenger two fee-free bags, which worked well for us. My family of 4 each had a suitcase, and we brought a 5th suitcase for snacks/food for our room. On the way home, since we had eaten all our snacks and food, we had room in this 5th suitcase for dirty laundry and souvenirs!

We packed a lot of the same things as the previous posters. We also packed the individual little boxes of cereal and we packed shelf stable milk (I think we used the Horizon brand). We double bagged the milk in ziploc bags to make sure there were no spills, and we had milk for cereal and to go with other snacks. The shelf stable milk fit perfectly in the small refrigerator in our room.

Have a terrific trip!!

I have quit taking snacks...we find that we end up with a lot of food in the room anyway - mostly leftover desserts and snacks picked up in the parks (like caramel from Germany or rice Krispy treats) and end up not eating what we bring. If I were to bring something to munch on in the room at night, it would be something salty. We also aren't really breakfast eaters.
