We kike the ice cream parlor on the end of main street. It is very good and it smells so delicious in there. They make the waffle cones and waffle bowls, and the bakery is right next door, but the ice cream is good. It is hard ice cream btw, not soft serve.

Oooh! Oooh! Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club! We like to spend a non-park evening walking around the Boardwalk/Yacht Club/Beach Club area. You can kind of see and hear Illuminations from the World Showcase entrance, and it's all within walking distance of each other.
With your extended family there you might want to try the kitchen sink at Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club Resort it is enough for everyone, a littlbit of everything, and it is wonderful.
OUR FAVORITE FAVORITE is the ice cream at the Plaza which comes right from the Main Street Ice cream Palor.
We do also like B&C and have been to Ghirardelli and they are good, but in "our" opinions are a close 2nd to ice cream on Main Street. I swear that stuff is homemade, its just amazing!!
mbb--we tried dippin' dots for the first time at TL. The stand is located right before the bridge that crosses over to the kiddie area. You'll love 'em, we did!!!!
We tried the new ice cream place at Crossroads next to Junle Jims. It is neat-they mix the ice cream with add-ins (nuts, chocolate pieces, etc.) on a marble slab. It's pretty good but VERY EXPENSIVE! You get better prices IN Disney!!! I would not go there again!
