We are staying at Saratoga Springs.
We have a car.
We are doing an Epcot Illusions cruise.
After that is done we would like to go to Jellyrolls.
Knowing it will be a late night and we will have had a few cocktails, we are thinking ahead to the best way to get back to Saratoga Springs.
Here is our thought....drive over to Yacht Club. Once the cruise is over, walk to Jellyrolls, then take transportation (or cab) back to Saratoga Springs. We are two couples with cars so we can go over and get the car next day. It seems like the transportation at the end of the night will take forever and the last stop is Downtown Disney and we have to walk over bridge from there? My husband searched info for this but it doeasnt sound right. Wouldn't transportation take us to the resort? How long is the trip by bus transportation? What time does it stop running?
Thinking cab is the way to go. Quickest and cheap for four anyway...Thoughts?

1. That'll work. (But, you could bus to DHS and boat to Yacht Club to avoid the car, entirely.)
2. There will be buses (at the Boardwalk Bus Stop) that will take you directly to Saratoga Springs. They will be marked "Downtown Disney" but just tell the driver to what resort you are headed.
3. After 2AM.
4. That will work, too. After Jellyrolls, go to the Boardwalk outdoor greeter and ask for a cab.

I don't think you can leave your car at Yacht Club overnight, so I would forget about that plan. You won't have a Yacht Club parking pass, and might get towed. You can take a WDW bus to DHS, then walk , or take a boat to Yacht Club. Taking a cab back to Saratoga Springs is probably a good idea. If DHS is open late, you could walk, or take a boat back there and then catch a bus back to your resort.

After reading Robo'S reply, I didn't realize you could catch a bus to SSR from BW. Robo, are you saying it's okay for the OP to leave their car at Yacht Club overnight?

Would the bus from Boardwalk include the transportation center? My husband got a travel time of 50 minutes. And from same website it was only 11 minutes away. Hence the cab....

My first choice would be cab to Yacht Club for cruise.

Cab back to Saratoga Springs after Jellyrolls.

Keep the car parked.

In grand scheme of things, just a few more $ for a lot less hassle.

Have fun!

1. The resort buses do not go to the TTC (what you called the transportation center.)
2. There are some really unreliable travel calculators on line.
3. You can take a cab, if you like. Figure the fee to be about $15-20, plus tip.

In the unique case of having a reservation for the very expensive and difficult specific launch location of the IllumiNations Cruise,
allowing the guest to park at the Yacht Club, Beach Club or Boardwalk lot would not be considered a problem.

You will get lots of expert advice if you post this question on the Transportation Forum here on the DIS rather than here on the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategy forum

Thanks Hopefully for the tip. I actually thought about that as an option to get answers but the transportation forum seemed to be more about getting to WDW that getting around once there.
Thanks to Robo! You covered it nicely!
