Best hotel pool area in Vegas?

Mandalay Bay has the best pool/water park area.

Garden of the Gods Oasis at Caesar's is pretty amazing.

The MGM has a long lazy river that is really nice.

Ok, which of these are the most "family friendly?" No wild parties going on? Thanks, lol.

Not many wild parties at pools these days. Weekends will be busy.

Both Mandalay and MGM are family friendly.

Not so much a water park type of pool, the Mirage is family friendly and during the week there won't be any wild parties.

Geared towards families and kids the Circus, Circus pool is much more of a water park type pool. That entire resort is geared towards families. But it's not a recommended hotel. Inexpensive but really cheap looking and feeling. Great family pool though...

Hope you aren’t going for March Madness!
I would love to go back for all the holiday Thanksgiving/NYE decorations but wondering about the comment made in another thread that the entire Strip reeks of marijuana...
The lazy river at MGM would seem to appeal to families... don’t forget LV limits those pool hours cause you are supposed to be gambling by sunset...haha

Looking to renew our vows with Elvis at the end of July in Vegas (25 years!!!) and visit the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. Maybe July 24th-31st. Advice, tips, ect. Bring it on!!!

Mandalay Bay, but it's located pretty far to one end of the strip, so not an ideal location.

There are a few resorts that are now 100% smoke free, if that is important to you as a family. Parl MGM is one, although their pool isn't amazing.

I would recommend trying to stay center strip. The summer heat makes walking almost unbearable during the day. Minimize that as much as you can by picking a center strip hotel. We like the Planet Hollywood. The pool area is fun without being rowdy and they have stuff like ping pong tables under cover poolside.

Thanks. Now wish we would have married during a colder month, lol.

I see a lot of cheap prices on numerous hotels. Guess they plan on make it up on with gambling. But they won't be with us. We MIGHT drop a whole $20 on one slot machine and we will be done.

We will probably rent a car for a week as we want to see the Grand Canyon. Any advice with such?

Being honest, I have to disagree with many of the posters above. We stayed at Mandalay Bay and left the pool after being in it about 5 minutes. It was beyond packed and it honestly felt unsafe. I wouldn’t ever want to take a family there (it was just me and my partner). Perhaps we just had a rough time there but we’re pretty experienced travellers and I would say it’s probably one of the worst places we have stayed. We did stay one night in the Venetian (pricier but definitely worth it in my opinion). It was immaculate, the service was fantastic and the pool area was more relaxing. Still busy and no extra features like at the Mandalay but still. I don’t know if it allows children though, as I’m thinking back and not remembering seeing any.

100% on the Wynn. 100% on Cosmo. 100% Venetian & Palazzo. I've traveled to LV for business and pleasure - 100's of times, pre and post C-19. Check out their websites and call the properties directly with questions.

Honestly, most of Vegas is NOT 'family friendly'. They tried to market themselves that way several years ago to attract more visitors and finally gave up. Children can only walk through the casinos with their parents when traveling to/from their hotel room or a restaurant. Children cannot loiter in any of the gaming areas even if with their parents. Some don't seem to realize that until hotel security tells them that is not allowed. If you aren't there for the casinos/gambling or eating, you have probably chosen the wrong place to vacation.

Not sure of the pool rules, but would imagine you also need to be with a parent to use the pool.

Vegas in the summer is so HOT it is like walking into an oven when you go outside. Casinos are much farther apart then they appear and while you might want to walk the strip to other places, a car is a better option. We like Vegas in the summer, since the gambling is all indoors and always a comfortable temperature. I have no idea how anyone uses the pool in the summer when it is so hot outside.

Places like the Hard Rock Hotel has a reputation for wild parties, but that probably depends on what your are looking for.
