Hi everyone ,we have stayed at all star movies and carribean beach but this time would like to stay on International drive so , which hotel do you think is the best and why. many thanks in advance.

Last year we stayed at the MIC lakefront which was in the middle of refurbishment when we were there and changed its name to Wellesley Inn. We found it to be ideal next door to wet & wild with all rooms overlooking the lake. All rooms have fridge, microwave, iron (though I wont be seen with an iron in my hand when on holiday!) We are going back again in 2 weeks.

If you are willing to go down the end of I Drive towards Sea World then I think that you cannot beat the Peabody!!!

Service second to none.
Food wonderful
Rooms large and comfortable
You get to see the ducks come down in the elevator to sit in the fountains for the day and then to return at 5 pm.

For luxury it would have to be The Peabody for me too also I prefer that end of I-Drive.

For good quality at a nice price The Holiday Inn International :)

For me it would have to be the Rosen Center (formerly Omni Rosen).

Very imposing building, great marble floors in the entrance, large comfortable rooms, good restaurants , 2 nice bars and fabulous pool area.

Also situated, opposite the Peabody, at the nicer, queiter end of I-drive.

No doubt about it, The Peabody is tops among I-Drive hotels.
It has a quiet, soothing ambience; top-notch service; comfortable rooms, and of course there's the ducks!

We've just stayed at the Crowne Plaza Universal - the other end of I Drive. It was built about 18 months ago and is on the junction of Universal Boulevard and Sand Lake Road.

Really imposing building, lovely marble reception, great rooms with the comfiest king bed I've ever slept in. Nice pool with plenty of towels, friendly staff, gym ( !! ) restaurant, bar, shop etc. If you're driving then there is plenty of parking spaces but the hotel run shuttle buses to US, IOA, WW.

We booked a room for about £45 per night through USA Rooms.co.uk - and found them to be really efficient. Hotel was a 5 min walk from I Drive and just across the road from Siam Orchid Thai restaurant. If you want to feel as if you're staying at WDW then they even do their own version of the refillable mug called the Tiki Cup!!

The best value for money hotel IMO is Holiday Inn I-Drive. The Tower rooms are impressive, great pool, shop and the bar is nice for a couple of late drinks.

Stayed there a number of years ago for $29.50/NIGHT
The hotel is owned by the same people who own the Quality inn complex at Sand lake road .
The guy doesn't like to see any of his rooms go empty.
