Best hotel/condo for non-park vacation?

Thinking of flying down on SW points and spending 8 days at a hotel or condo. Want to visit Legoland and maybe Seaworld but just spend the rest of the time relaxing at the resort as we've done Disney/Universal so many times. Looking for a place for under $175 a night in late June that has a great pool and lots of activities for the kids. Kids are 10, 9, and 5. Thanks!

Condo or house and your own pool maybe? We rented a 4BR condo through VRBO for $800 for a week for mid June. There are tons of properties down there to fit every budget. A lot of houses have private pools.

A lot of people really rave about Bonnett Creek. It's supposed to have a lovely lazy river.

Other than that I don't know because all my other trips have been on-site at Disney.

I have never stayed here and I am not sure what the cost is, but Marriot Harbour Lake has a pirate ship pool area and a fountain type play area for the kids. It is right near Sea World too.

I would recommend Wyndham Bonnet Creek--you can rent a 2bedroom 2 bath for about $800/week from either VRBO or a rental agency. They have amazing pools, lazy rivers, activities daily for children of all ages. We rented through: http://www.farrellsvacations.com/
