Looking into a hotel/condo by Seaworld for a few nights for 3 adults (DM, DD & DGM). We are going to Disney for 2 days, Universal for another 2 days and then Seaworld. Could someone recommend a few close hotels by Seaworld? I was thinking about pricelining. Has anyone tried a 3 three star and what hotel did you get??

BTW, I forgot my password and had to create a new account. The New password section kept asking me the random question "What is the name of your favorite mouse". When I enter "Mickey", it says incorrect! ugh!! Could someone tell me how else I can reset my password so I can use my original account?

Thanks!

The problem with priceline is that you are not guaranteed bedding....The Residence Inn by Sea World is great!

We really like the Hilton Garden Inn Seaworld. You can walk to the park from here.

I won the Renasissance at Sea World recently for $80 a night on priceline. It was a resort hotel if I remember correctly. If there is no resort category it was a 4* for sure. I was pleased with the hotel and rate it looks fabulous! I saved a ton according to the hotel's website. Good luck on your planning!:thumbsup2

The priceline bidding zone for SeaWorld includes the Convention Center area and also an area south of SeaWorld. The Convention Center area has most of the hotels in this area, and you would probably be more likely to get a hotel around the Convention Center rather than hotels the previously posters have mentioned which are in walking distance to SeaWorld. The Convention Center area is close to SeaWorld (1-2 miles). Also, many of 4* and 3.5* hotels are the very large convention style hotels - most are very nice hotels, but a different type of atmosphere and setting than hotels that are adjacent to the park.

Thanks this is great info! I will probably either hotwire or just book a hotel. I am looking for a suite, something like the Embassy suites, but they are really high. I am torn between The Marriott Residence Inn (which is really close to Seaworld OR Springfield Suites (which is I think about 5 miles away). Anyone have a preference?? I don't think the Hilton Garden Inn has suites, pretty sure they are regular hotel rooms??

There are a number of Springfield Suites in this area fairly close to SeaWorld -there is a newer one (maybe under 2 years old) close to SeaWorld on International Drive (faces the back side of the Park); one a little north of the Convention Center; and another in Marriott Village in the Lake Buena Vista area.

I could get the Springfield Suites on vineland Avenue for $93 a night, OR the Springfield Suites next to Seaworld for $118 a night. I wanted to be closer to Seaworld :(
What do you think?

I think the Hilton Garden Inn does have 1 bedroom suites with either a king or 2 doubles in the bedroom.

Wow! Great info. I thought Springfield Suites was a true 3 star, especially since its pretty new. I don't mean to be a snob, but I always go for 3 stars and above. Now I am questioning staying there. Maybe I will priceline? Thanks again.

I never could understand why Priceline normally rates Springhill Suites as 2.5* and Courtyard and Residence Inn as 3*. Marriott trys to attract different types of customers to these three brands, but I always thought the three were very similar in quality. I actually prefer the Springhill over the other two.
