Our DS loves hot dogs...

Best place in the 4 WDW parks to get them ?

Germany ? Casey's ? The Lunching Pad ?

Other places ?

Are they all the same hot dog - or seasoned differently ?

Thanks!

We recently tried the hot dogs at Fairfax Fair in Hollywood Studios. They had Mac and Cheese and Bacon on them. They were wonderful!!! I saw a picture of them on here and HAD to try them. They were so good. If your son likes Mac and Cheese and Bacon I'd give these a try. They are a bit messy to eat. I used a fork and knife, but they were so good :).

The hotdogs in Disney is great.
The problem lies with the bun. Its not very good! :(

Casey's has by far the best hot dogs on property. And their corn dog nuggets are great, too!

We loved the hot dogs at Casey's! Great toppings bar! Also, if you get there before they open at 11 am, which we just happened to be there, the workers come out in front of the restaurant and pick a kid to throw the first pitch and sing Take me out to the Ballpark. They also hand out free Cracker Jacks to everyone standing around and singing along. Nice perk on top of the great dogs!

I am wondering this too, and are they all beef? DD does not like all beef hot dogs, neither do I. We generally eat Sahlen's dogs here but WDW will not have them.

I just ate at Casey's Corner last Thursday Night and if I recall correctly, it says on the menu board they're all beef I think.

And I loved them! I got one with sauerkraut and pulled pork and something else I think on it - it was a bit much for toppings lol but very good.

In Epcot, you can get hot dogs at the Promenade Refreshments kiosk which is at the entrance to World Showcase. We did that for our grandson and us while my son and his family enjoyed the Mexican fast food and we all ate together there. The dogs are wrapped so you can get one for your son and then carry it with you wherever you want to eat (fast food wise, I wouldn't carry it into a table service restaurant).

No I few years ago they switched to beef/chicken dog at all the WDW operated CS (not sure about Germany).

Many have posted wondering if the reason they started selling the dogs with mounds of toppings was to mask any flavor difference.

I like Casey's. However, the quality has gone WAY down in the last few years. Used to go to MK just to go there and get a hot dog. No longer good enough for that. Sauerkraut an mustard for me.

The hot dogs in Germany are very good as well.

Unless Disney has recently come to their senses, almost all hot dogs are the same 60% chicken/40% beef blend. They have gotten big on toppings to disguise the awful taste, but I eat my hot dogs plain. The buns on both hot dogs and burgers have been wheat and oversized and are often called "crumble buns" because they fall apart. Not what you'd expect from the "Great American Theme Park!"

In my personal quest to find real hot dogs at Disney, Somerfest in Germany (Epcot), Wetzel's Pretzels in DTD, and a Mexican fast-food place at DTD have all-beef hot dogs, but none have a traditional white bun.

Universal Studios seems to be outclassing Disney in the food department and has a Nathan's that I expect has real hot dogs. Who'da thunk!

The Hot Dogs at Caseys are good, but to be honest with you, the hot dogs and sausages over at the Hess Station are a little better.

disney hotdogs are pretty terrible....

any hotdog that contains chicken or turkey should be outlawed by an Act of Congress and the UN security council.

just don't eat hot dogs or pizza (except flatbreads at better restaurants and via napoli) at WDW...you'll be better for it.

The only natural casing hot dog I can find is in Germany. IMO that is the best hot dog!

and no doubt less expensive.

It's just sad when a gas station has better hot dogs than Disney's most popular hot dog place. Really, really sad.
