Best Hawaii vacation?? HGV?

I know DVC used to partner with Hilton Grand Vacations and was wondering if anyone here has experience. We own at Club Intrawest which partners with DVC and HGV and we have a few options and I told DH that's where I want to go for my 40th birthday and that's coming up fast, it's in January. So I'm trying to search out my options.

It will just be my DH and I going on the trip for probably a week. Or any other places you love that I can check out.

We are doing our first VGC at the end of May!!
