Best Hamburger?

We will be spending time at the Magic Kingdom, MGM, Downtown Disney, and Epcot on our trip in December. I am looking for the best, preferably grilled hamburger and/or french fries. Most of the fast food type places seem to have broiled, warmed up hamburgers, that are kind of mushy. Any sit-down restaurants that have great burgers? Thanks for any recommendations.

Gulliver's at the Swan (dinner service only) serves up great Certified Angus beef burgers. Trust my waistline - the are to die for! Very convenient to MGM and Epcot.

They have great burgers at Le Cellier, too. They may only be on the lunch menu. I'm not sure.

We just love the burgers at Planet Hollywood in DD.

Another vote for Planet Hollywood! We ate there for the first time last August and had a great meal...a huge cheeseburger and order of fries and the price was really reasonable for what you got.

Surprisingly Kona Cafe has a great hamburger. We go there several times during each trip, just for the burgers.

I love the Kona Cafe as well. It's great food, great atmosphere and I love watching the monorails whisk by every few minutes.

Hamburgers my favorite subject. We love Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL. They make a great burger with steak fries and we add on a chocolate shake! Oh man what I wouldn't give for one right this minute!

I know many may not agree with this....but I enjoy the burgers at the Sci-Fi, maybe because I'm having a burger, milkshake, and watching campy flicks with my daughter! Its so much fun and yummy too!!

Double burger with cheddar and bacon, medium rare, Beaches and Cream. Only another month until I wrap my mouth around one of those.

The Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary serves up a mean burger as well.

Have to agree with the majority Beaches & Cream as well as Konas has the best burgers on property.

I agree with the person who said Sci-Fi at MGM. Very good and huge, could be shared.

Sci-Fi has the best burgers....I also think it's because you have the fries and shake to go with it! Yummy!!!

Thanks much for the suggestions. I will say that I stayed at the Beachclub for a week a few years ago, and we ate at Beaches and Cream a lot, and I just didn't like their burgers. I like mine well done, and no matter how much I stressed well done, they always seemed to me too (for my tastes, at least) pink. While I realize many people (including my mother, who is from Europe) think that it's totally low class to eat well done meat -- that it is an insult to the chef to ask for meat well done -- the whole salmonella things scares me, plus I just like the way almost burned, crunchy hamburgers taste.

I will definitely try the Sci-Fi; I've wanted to go there and just haven't made it yet but now I'll make it a priority.

Best one we had by far was at Downtown at House of Blues. One of the best burgers I have ever had anywhere in fact. Really nice atmosphere too
