Best Grocery Stop between Universal and Boardwalk?

We'll be stopping between Universal and the Boardwalk Villas for our 1/2 hour grocery stop on Monday, Jan. 26 at approx. 12 noon. Just wondering if there are a lot of stores to chose from, which offer the best selection, any that should be avoided?

I know there's a Super Target, WalMart or something like that. I'm just afraid that we may get sidetracked. I may save a few $ on groceries, but spend mega $ on other stuff! I could spend HOURS in my own Target, let alone a new one that I've never been too! LOL! I think we'd be better off with a regular grocery store.

Also, are there any located near liquor stores? I heard you can get wine and beer at the grocery stores (woo hoo!) But, we may want to pick up a few other things too.

Anyhow, I appreciate any info. on what's available in this area. You guys are the best!

Stay away from Goodings...they are way over priced. Look for a Publix. There is one on Conroy which is just north of Universal..there is also one near the Premium Outlet Mall (actually in the back of it, enter thru the south end of International Dr.). There maybe one on Apopka-Vineland...not sure..there is a Winn Dixie there.

We use the Publix near SeaWorld on Central Florida Pkwy near International Drive on our way to from SeaWorld.
Also 3 miles south of HIFS on International Drive south not to far from The Epcot Resort Area.

There is a brand NEW Winn Dixie on 535. If you exit I-4 like you are going to DTD.... continue down 535 and it is on your right about a mile or so down.
