Best grocery delivery

Love Garden Grocer. Have used them all three trips. Flawless.

We have also been happy with Garden Grocer. A little pricey, but very convenient . You can pick your time, and have it delivered before you arrive or while you are at the parks, and resort will hold it and then deliver, like they do with luggage from ME. They have a good variety of items, like apple slices, gogurts, cereal, pop tarts, chips, goldfish, water, etc. Minimum order of $40 and $12 delivery charge.

We've used WeGoShop several times and have been very happy. I like that I can give them a very specific shopping list (especially for fruits and veg) and they will go to the store of your choice.

I'm not sure how they compare in terms of pricing, but I thought they were worth it based on great service and convenience.

We used wegoshop and were very happy and will use them again when we go this fall.

From what I understand there are two key differences between wegoshop and Garden Grocer. GG basically has a virtual grocery store where you go on their website and select the items you want. If the item you want is not listed on the site you're out of luck. Their delivery fee is lower but that is because the prices of everything are inflated somewhat.

Wegoshop has a higher delivery fee (but I still think it is really low, I don't know how they make any money) but they do not inflate the store prices. They give you the receipt when they drop off the groceries and you pay exactly the store prices plus the delivery fee which is based on the grocery total. For example, if your grocery total is $100-$200 the delivery fee is $29. Also, they will go to any local store you want, including Sam's Club and Costco, and you can order anything in that store. You make your own list and they only substitute things on the list when necessary. We had a pretty large list and the only thing they substituted for us was the size of the swiss cheese package. Everything else is exactly how we ordered it.

if you're an amazon prime member (which i am), then amazon prime is the way to go. Looked into gardengrocer.com and found that it was double or even triple the price per item and they charge a lot for shipping.

Only saving grace about GG is that they offer fresh produce. but at $1.29 PER APPLE, you'd be better off buying at your local store and checking it in yourself. (can't do it for soft fruits like bananas or oranges or berries, but apples, pears and melons worked for us!)
