Best GPS app for Iphone?

I've read about WAZE-but didn't like that it tracks my progress for others to see and Mapquest. Mapquest had mixed reviews- either extremely positive or extremely negative.

Any suggestions? I have the google maps/directions that came with the phone but there is no voice and turn by turn. I have to keep looking at the phone to make sure I'm on the right track. DD12 is my co-pilot but gets carsick so she can't keep looking at it.

I have bought the majority of them. I end up always going back to the TomTom app. Worked perfectly driving from NH to FL and getting around Disney.

Check Garmin and Tom Tom.

With which ever one you chose ( I use waze sparingly as I'd rather use a gps made for a car ) make sure you plug your phone in while using it, those apps chew through your battery very quick.

Yep, those are good choices. Over several years Garmin's search engine has always outperformed Tom Tom in testing for shortest and fastest routing. But as pp has said, make sure you can plug the phone in cause your battery will be used up fast.
