2026 MMB info Announced

anybody remember how much the MMB 5 day base weekday ticket was last year 2025?

I was on hold this morning 25 minutes (calling about something else ) - expected it after they were closed yesterday.

I called MS. Bonus OTUP is across all memberships. I gave the example of: If I called and purchased MMB and the bonus OTUP in Membership A and then my husband called and purchased MMB in Membership B and asked to purchase the bonus OTUP, would you look to see that I received the bonus OTUP in Membership A and decline his request for this in Membership B. Answer was Yes - - they would see all memberships and see that the bonus OTUP was already applied to one membership.

It is confusing that certain features of MMB are applied at the member level and other features are applied at the membership level.
Did they elaborate at all on this? I have no issues if they want to limit the BOGO points, but it would be nice if the rules were clear. The MMB terms currently refer to member for everything and not memberships. It would be easy enough for them to change the wording to include the limitation across all memberships if that was the actual rule they were following.

That is of course true - at least for the new pass

in 2025 it gave you $1079 / 75 points = $14.39 / point ($15.32 after tax)
in 2026 it will give you $1099 / 75 points = $14.65 / point ($15.61 after tax)

(I believe the renewal cost stayed the same at $929, so you're not getting more value for renewals this year vs last year)

Renewal value per point in 2025 and 2026: $929 / 65 points = $14.29 / point ($15.22 after tax)

But you'd probably be much less inclined to use use 75/65 points for a new/renewal annual pass if your dues spiked to $15/pt next year. Am I wrong?

Obviously an unrealistic number for WDW resorts, but it's for illustrative purposes.... I think the value that you get for the total dues paid still matters in the context of making the decision, even if you pay the dues regardless.

(On a side note, I suspect that those with Vero beach contracts that can be used for APs are also less inclined to do it than those with BLT or Poly contracts also due to the disparity in dues)

Reading through this today for a different reason but will respond on the Vero points:

Since I've got Vero points - only 50 of them - I have no problem using them.

My calculation is
1. book the vacations I want.
2. anything left over? if it's something I prefer to bank for next year, bank them! Always BWV points will be banked. hh points will be banked. VB and BCV - use anyway as I'm probably not worrying about booking them.
3. Calculate my entire amount of points at the average per point price. (I'm not selling. I'm not buying.
4. 51 points at average dues point cost plus 24 points at MMB cost.
5. If above is less than the going after tax rate for the Sorceror - BUY the pass! Don't care or need to mess with renting. I do a hodgepodge of banking and borrowing each year due to 11 month window needs. Almost always end up banking after it's all said and done.

This year a SPass using points would utilize/I think I mean cost approximately $275 less than the going rate for the DVC pass without MMB. But I don't need a pass for 2026 or 2027. Hopefully 2028's questionable math nets a decent deal.

Simplistic math, I know but it works for me, based on my usage and booking patterns.
