Best GF room?

Where do you recommend is the best room available at the GF.....what floor, building, etc. (I don't mean concierge, I just mean the regular rooms...)

We loved our lagoon view dormer room in Sago Cay. We had a magnificent view of the Magic Kingdom!

Sago Cay is my favorite building for both lagoon and garden view. For a garden view room we always request Sago Cay, marina side.

Sago Cay is also really close to Gasparillas (for the refillable mug) and if you are getting a garden view room the marina is right there so you can go out there and watch the fireworks. They have tables and chairs set up. Also if you ask for the marina side its almost like getting a lagoon view room at garden view prices.

You might want to request Sago Cay,

I like Conch Key just as much and Boca Chica, it really depends on whether you book garden or lagoon view and whether you want to be close to the main building, or the boat, or the pools, etc. ??

We actually prefer the lagoon view rooms at Big Pine Key! We liked the view from Boca Chica but didn't like to walk through/around the quiet pool all the time. Our view of the castle from Sago Cay wasn't as good as the other 2 buildings I mentioned but it was a good location and pretty quiet. We always ask for an upper floor. The top floor has the dormer rooms which are actually smaller but appear bigger because of the ceiling height.

I truly do not think there is a bad building location at the Grand Floridian, garden or lagoon. Certainly some are more desirable and Big Pine Key does offer some great views and very close to the main building.

I do have to say, even though most lagoon view rooms in Big Pine Key lack a castle view, it is still a very pretty view. We had one a couple years ago, and I enjoyed watching the monorail, and seeing the Polynesian, Wedding Pavilion, and part of the theme pool.
