Seriously, thank yall SO much. Your stories are giving me such hope!!
I went to sit with her this morning and I felt there was a little improvement.
She was speaking in full sentences and this time, was choosing appropriate words. (but I had no idea what she is referring to or most anything else she spoke of although she did answer a few questions)....she was no longer saying things like, "Bubbles, it was ..yes...awful...rabbit...terrible...we did....yes"
It was like she was thinking of something and commenting on it, but I had no idea what we were talking about.
The doctor asked her what my name was and she just looked at him and kind of giggled. She wasn't really able to answer a specific question.
She was talkative but still wasn't 'there'. Better, but not totally there. She actually did say a few full coherent sentences that were relevant. So that is indeed improvement.
I miss my friend terribly and would normally be calling her to process this whole thing, but she's not there to talk to. Gosh, I pray she is restored. So many women my age consider her their 'mama'.
