My DS10 LOVES Chef Mickey's. He would like to do it for dinner. I'm a little hesitant. Which do you think has the best dinner food - Chef Mickey's or Crystal Palace.

I'm not overly concerned about character interaction.

Thanks so much!

Everyone's got their own opinion, of course, but we did both in September, and CP won by a mile! Had a much more varied buffet. We're celebrating DS' third birthday there next week. We let him choose the restaurant, and that's what he picked. Chef Mickey's is fun, but the food was much, much better at CP.

The breakfast at Chef Mickey's is better than the dinner. We were disappointed with the quality of the buffet dinner. I would select CP.

Another vote for CP for dinner - their food is excellent. We love the character interaction at Chef Mickey's but would never do dinner there again, only breakfast.

Count me in for CP also. I ate dinner at Chef Mickeys for the first time last NOv. and all 7 of us in our party did not like it.

DH loves CM, so it is a must do. I love the ribs, so we usually go on a Sat night. I think the food for CP lunch is very similar to their dinner selections, so we do the lunch & get a nice afternoon break. It is probably more difficult to get a CM dinner ressie (to work around the MK nighttime activities). We like the food at both, but the food at CP may be a smidge better. Wish I didn't care so much about the characters, as I would love to try Boma. I just can't justify spending that much on a meal with no Mickey, etc!

Fran~ I love ribs too! CM only serves them on saturday nights?? I didn't know they seved them. Are they baby backs??? Thanks for the info.

I think the food at CM was much better than CP! I loved the pastas, prime rib.. I want to go back! I think, though what really made me love it more than CP was the desserts! I thought the CP desserts were kind of boring-- cookies, some sort of apple dish-- brownies.. while Chef Mickeys had those delicious chocolate mousse pies with the little Mickey faces and the wonderful cheesecake with fresh berries... we were so pleasantly surprised by Chef Mickeys.. I was expecting much and will definitely plan for it on our next trip!

good luck with your planning!

Our family of 3 prefers dinner at CP. They have a better variety of foods and everything is tasty and hot.
