Best Floor @ BLT

Hi I would like to call and make a room request later this week. What would you consider to be the best floor at BLT? We have a lake view studio booked. Many thanks!

5th floor will allow easier access to The Contemporary by way of the walkway. This will get you to the Monorail a little faster. We just stayed at BLT and really like this floor.

I prefer higher floor for increased views. Elevator for us is a non-issue. If you are traveling with kids, 5th floor where they have direct access to the walkway to Contemporary can be a + or a - depending on age. If you look at the BLT thread it has photos from many rooms which will show you views.

We also like the 5th floor to easily get to the walkway over to CR--where the monorail/food/shops are located. This was esp true the year we did the dining plan and had the mugs and went over a lot for drinks.

The higher the better. 5th floor walkway is really a non-issue since walkway entrance is right next to an elevator. Nevertheless, do not ask for specifc floor, just request high floor -- if you request specifc floor and that particular floor request cannot be met, default would be to send you to any other floor in the building, not necessarily high floor.

I like the 15th or 16th floor because after watching Wishes from TOTWL we can walk back to our rooms. And the higher the floor the better the view.

We have been to BLT twice....first time 8th floor north end lake view with a view of Space Mountain, Castle and Fireworks. We loved it.

Next time we were on the top floor 14th and loved it. We had to access the floor using our KTTWC on the elevator....we were steps from the TOWL....we had a lake view looking out on the pool.

So, I would say higher floors .....north side so you get a MK view with out having to pay the extra points. But we did love the top floor too....I did not like looking across to other villas.

We are here now and requested and received a high floor, even number room. (Booked Lake view category.) It is perfect because we can see space mountain, the castle and Wishes from our balcony. (It's considered a lake view because the straight out view from the living room

We are at BLT now-- booked lake view and requested high floor, even numbered room and got it! We also did the same in July 2012 and our room was on the 8th floor. This time we are on the 10th floor, very similar, fantastic view. (Wishes from the balcony!!)

Aside from not having a chance for a partial MK view, the downside to the odd numbered rooms IMO is the fact that from the pool everyone can see up into your room, and because the building curves, other rooms can also see into yours.

Our last trip we were lucky to get a studio on the top floor. The view was spectacular!

Great information! We would love to see MK or fireworks from our room! We also booked a lakeview HC 1 bedroom! I will request high floor even number

One thing that I have noticed about the high floors, if you are in an inside room, is that the noise from outside seems to radiate upwards. It was very loud, every night, when the water pagent came over. It literally felt like it was right outside the door. Woke us up every night.

Our last trip there we had a 2 bedroom lake view on the top floor. Amazing! Never had a better room at any hotel.
