Best (fastest) way to get to Trail's End from WL?

What would be the best way to get to Trail's End buffet from the Wilderness Lodge?

Take the boat launch. There are two boat routes. One that
goes to the Magic Kingdom, and one that goes to the Contemporary and Ft. Wildnerness.

The color coded flags will help you find the correct
boat.

If you don't mind walking a mile or so, there's also a walking
trail between WL and Ft. Wildnerness.

I recommend the walk if you are going during daylight hours -- that's how we got there from WL for breakfast. Its not a difficult walk and as I recall it was about 20 minutes.

the walk from wl to fw was closed when we were at the VWL Oct 2-8 due to the hurricane damage - has it reopened?

The boat ride is quick , easy and a beautiful ride. WE have made it many time. Early morning for breakfast is really nice. Enjoy!!
