Best Fab 5 Character Meal

We will be at WDW Dec 17-22. Three kids, 12,9,2. We have done Princess dining with the older kids several times in the past, and have decided we are only doing one Character dinner on this trip. The youngest LOVES Mickey and the other traditional Disney Characters. What is the best character meal for those? I have heard the Holiday and Vine is the best and also Topolino's Terrace is good? We did Tusker House on our last trip so looking to try a different one. Also, the Characters are most important, but also would like a choice with good food.

If the requirements are Fab 5 and better food then it's Topolinos hands down and not even close. It is only character dining during breakfast there so keep that in mind.

Minnie's Holiday Dine was better than I expected food wise and the character interactions were pretty solid, I just really don't care for the atmosphere of the actual restaurant space at H&V.

Garden Grill is good for Mickey Interaction. He is in his farmer outfit and you can "talk" to him about work on the farm and the things on the table that he grew. Pluto and Chip n Dale are fun too.

My wife and I recently took our 4 year old granddaughter to WDW. We had 3 character meals with Topolino’s being far and away having the best character interactions and food quality. The other 2 character meals being Chef Mickey’s and Hollywood & Vine with Chef Mickey’s being somewhat the better of these 2. Have a great trip!

I think the only place that's mickey, goofy, minnie, donald and pluto is chef mickeys.

My favorite fur character breakfasts are Topolino's and Garden Grill.

Topolino's is Mickey Minnie Donald and Daisy (I can't remember if pluto was there).

Garden Grill is Farmer Mickey, Pluto and chip and dale.

I do have a soft spot for Ohana, but I'm really just paying to meet stitch

If you want the fab 5 I think the only place to offer them is Chef Mickey’s. If you are looking for a character meal there are several options.

No Pluto at Topolino’s. Just Mickey & Minnie, Donald & Daisy. They are in Mediterranean outfits - Mickey is a Painter, Daisy a dancer, Donald is a sculptor and Minnie is a Fashion model/designer. So not the traditional outfits. The food is very good and it’s not all you can eat buffet.
